COPENHAGEN, March 31 (Reuters) - Denmark's leading telecoms
operator TDC (TDC.CO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Monday it would offer free music
downloads to its mobile phone and broadband Internet customers
in cooperation with three major record labels.
EMI, Warner Music (WMG.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and Sony BMG (6758.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz)BERT.UL
have signed up for the service along with several small Danish
labels.
The service, dubbed PLAY, will offer access to 1 million
songs for free, TDC said.
