No joke, we wonder about these new jack DJs sometimes. Sure, they flip our 90's favorites for Internet dollars, but how deep does their love go? Is it just smash and grab to them, a quick way to secure bigger gigs and some more notoriety, or does the knowledge and appreciation go all the way back?
Apparently, it goes back pretty damn deep for White Girl Lust. We loved their Tail Light Bump EP, they've got an accompanying remix release on the way, and this mix...well....this mix is divine. All love, guys.

We haven't talked enough about how much we love the Hood Headlinaz here, but this is a great way to introduce you guys. The Paper Route boys are based in Huntsville, Ala., and this sampler of their upcoming Paper Route Gangstaz tape shows that hip hop and house have gone well past playing footsie under the table. At this point, they're trying to pick a hotel. Let's hope they pick one with a great weekend rate.

He's a hip-hop DJ (for now), but he's done disco, electro, breakcore (YESSSSS!!!); Don King would rightly say the man is just tremendous. Riz MC - "Radar"
We first heard about Riz MC, an Oxford-educated rapper from Britain, after his debut single "Post 9/11 Blues" got banned by the Beeb. And we liked the track okay. But it absolutely did not prepare us for this snarling, merciless indictment of our modern culture that we're offering here. The accuracy of "Blues" is still there, but the aggression of his vocals matches the dark beat perfectly, and at this point we're basically geeking hard over this dude.
